  1. Jeremy,
I like how detailed your plan is. I like how you've set up a "control" group. It's a very scientific approach that will surely give you great evidence one way or the other.

  2. I still think this is a great project!your planning looks well laid out and detailed. Will you meet with your teachers more than at the beginning of the project? Just wondered and maybe I missed reading it above. Looks good!

  4. Jeremy -

I am interested to see how this works in math. Our campus has only really done it in Science. I think the notebooks are a great tool. I can't even think of anything to change on your plan. Can't wait to see what you find out!

  5. I'll make sure to talk to the teachers throughout the year. I tend to run around the campus on my free time.

  6. I have used interactive notebooks in science, but I love the idea of incorporating them into math. Your plan is well thought out and concise. You will be collecting a lot of data over the year, so you will have lots to work with. I'm guessing this is a big school with several geometry teachers. As a parent, I would sure want the one who was teaching with interactive notebooks. Good luck with your research!

  7. I think that is a great plan. You will have a lot of data to pull from. I teach Adaptive Behavior at the elementary level. Our new supervisor wants us to use one for our Social Skills class. I think it's a great idea. I'm curious to see if it could get the parents more involved. You've got me thinking about an 2nd ARP.

  8. Jeremy: Interactive Notebooks are such a great tool! Your thought processes and plans for implementing this action research project successfully look GREAT! I anticipate hearing how productive your classes are throughout the school year and how much more involved students are with the interactive notebook mandate in each of your classes. I agree that you will have a lot of data to pull from!
